Philosophy

We are a Large Family Daycare with responsive and loving relationships. We provide hands on learning environment programs for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We stimulate the child’s desire to learn by providing age appropriate play experiences for the development of the whole child: emotional, social, cognitive, and physical. Children will work, play, grow and learn in an atmosphere of love, patience, and mutual respect. We recognize that each child learns at their own pace in their own way. We accept others’ similarities and differences. We are quick to respond with needs to make children feel respected and valued.

After being with Ms Raquel at Strawberry Lane for 4 wonderful years, my daughter was given the best care and early education during the most important years of her life! I am so thankful I was referred to Strawberry Lane Daycare by a friend when my boys started needing daycare services 8 years ago. They started when they were 4-6 months old. My youngest just stopped and now both boys go to school but they always ask me, can we go to Ms Raquel's? It's a fun and caring environment where the kids thrive because they do crafts, play in and outdoors, read, and learn how to behave and treat each other with respect and kindness. Ms. Raquel and her staff are so easy to work with and really are open to discussing your child's needs and development. They did help potty train my boys too when they were ready! We will always have a special place in our heart for Ms. Raquel - she is like family!! I can't believe my kids are all grown up and I am just thankful she took care of them doing their younger years!!

It's more than just a daycare, our son considers this place to be his 2nd home because he has a good time playing, learning, and growing there with a group of wonderful kids. It has been a blast working with Raquel and her extended childcare team. We really appreciate the thoughtful approach she has taken to keep everyone safe and healthy during the pandemic. We decided to send Sammy to this daycare when he was 10 months old, and he has loved the place since day one. It appears the little guy also likes the breakfast and lunch they provided, so kudos to Raquel for not only cooking delicious meals but also sharing the menu and nutrition details with the parents. I think other parents also appreciate the fact that they have a huge backyard with slides and other outdoor toys. We highly recommend this daycare for babies between 6 months and 5 years old. The only thing I would suggest is to get your name in early since it's very popular and there is usually a waitlist.
